There's some varieties that are naturally symmetrical and grows beautifully no matter what you do to it (except if you drop it and all the leaves on one side breaks off or something) So, naturally...

I would have to add that most of the anthroflores have nice symmetrical leaf patterns as well . My brielle is one of them .

I used to love Anthoflores!  I second that, they have nice symmetrical foliage.  They're hard to find now-a-days though.

You can encourage symmetrical growth of many varieties.  Removing underdeveloped leaves from the bottom rows, toothpicks to space leaves, etc. are a few things that come to mind.  On this forum, you...

Yes, I agree with JanCarol.  I've done that.  Stick toothpicks in the soil to train leaves to stay in the desired spot.  That's part of the fun, to be able to train an imperfect plant and make it...
